We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for your students: the 2025 Bella Music Foundation Canada Youth Orchestra (BMFCYO). This pioneering and inclusive ensemble—officially invited by UNESCO in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions—brings together both visually impaired and sighted youth musicians to foster musical excellence, leadership, and cultural exchange. This program offers students a unique opportunity to participate in the official UNESCO 20th Anniversary celebrations and to represent youth musicians on an international stage. Please note that this is a short-term, clearly defined project. The rehearsal and performance schedule has been carefully designed to avoid conflicts with students’ existing commitments to other orchestras, ensembles, or musical activities. Most importantly, this is a rare, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be officially connected with a UNESCO milestone celebration, and we sincerely hope students will not miss this exceptional experience. BMFCYO Artistic Director & Principal Conductor : Hubert Kim Eligibility: Open to both sighted and visually impaired youth — all orchestral instrumentalists and pianists
